Expansion Project

Lubbock Meals on Wheels is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous grant from the J. T. & Margaret Talkington Charitable Foundation, Inc..  The $2,214,000 in grant funds will allow Lubbock Meals on Wheels (LMOW) to more than double the size of our existing facility.  LMOW is not government funded, nor are we a United Way funded agency.  It has been 17 years since the last improvements were made to the LMOW facility.  Lubbock Meals on Wheels prepares and delivers meals to over 700 people via 54 routes each weekday.    We literally have no more room to add any more routes.  We believe that this expansion will enable us to grow with the Lubbock community for another 10 to 15 years.

Our official ground breaking is on May 5th, 2016 at 2:30 pm.
