With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking seriously about PIE! We have the perfect way for you to kick off the pie season. This year, Lubbock Meals on Wheels, United Supermarkets, KAMC, KLBK, and Mrs. Smith’s are teaming up to celebrate our 34th Annual Easy As Pie fundraiser.Visit your local, Lubbock Amigos, Market Street, and United Supermarket from November 12 – November 26 and donate $5.00 to receive a coupon for a free Mrs. Smith’s pie..
It’s as easy as… telling your checker to add it to your total when you get your groceries. Donations can also be given at the customer service counter. at self-checkout, and with your online/curbside orders. As always, you can donate at the Lubbock Meals on Wheels office and still receive Mrs. Smith’s coupons.
Coupons are redeemable at any Lubbock Amigos, Market Street, or United Supermarket. All proceeds benefit Lubbock Meals on Wheels helping nearly 1,100 people remain at home, well-fed, and independent as long as possible. Coupons expire on Monday, December 1.
The event kicks off with a celebrity pie eating contest at Noon on Wednesday, November 12, at the United on 114th & Slide. Thanks to United Supermarkets, Mrs. Smith’s, KAMC, and KLBK for their generous contributions to this event.
