Feed A Friend, It’s As Easy As Pie

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking seriously about PIE! We have the perfect way for you to kick off the pie season. This year, Lubbock Meals on Wheels, United Supermarkets, KAMC, KLBK, and Mrs. Smith’s are teaming up to celebrate our 32nd Annual Easy As Pie fundraiser. Easy As Pie is November 8 – November 22 at all Lubbock Amigos, Market Streets, and United Supermarkets.
United customers and LMOW supporters are encouraged to donate $5.00 to receive a coupon for a free Mrs. Smith’s pie.
It’s as easy as… telling your checker to add it to your total when you get your groceries. Donations can also be given at the customer service counter, when shopping Streetside, and at self-checkout. As always, you can donate at the Lubbock Meals on Wheels office and still receive Mrs. Smith’s coupons.
Coupons are redeemable at any Lubbock Amigos, Market Street, or United Supermarkets. All proceeds benefit Lubbock Meals on Wheels and help over 950 people remain at home, well-fed, and independent as long as possible.
The event kicks off with a celebrity pie eating contest at Noon on Wednesday, November 8, at the United on 114th & Slide. Thanks to United Supermarkets, Mrs. Smith’s, KAMC, and KLBK for their generous contributions to this event.
