Feed A Friend, It’s As Easy As Pie – 32nd Annual

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking seriously about PIE! We have the perfect way for you to kick off the pie season. This year, Lubbock Meals on Wheels, United Supermarkets, KAMC, KLBK, and Mrs. Smith’s are teaming up to celebrate our 32nd Annual Easy As Pie fundraiser. Easy As Pie is November 8 – November 22 at all Lubbock Amigos, Market Streets, and United Supermarkets.
United customers and LMOW supporters are encouraged to donate $5.00 to receive a coupon for a free Mrs. Smith’s pie (pumpkin, very berry, apple, Dutch apple, or cherry).
It’s as easy as… telling your checker to add it to your total when you get your groceries. Donations can also be given at the customer service counter and when shopping Streetside. As always, you can donate at the Lubbock Meals on Wheels’ office and still receive Mrs. Smith’s coupons.
Coupons are redeemable at any Lubbock Amigos, Market Street, or United through December 4th, 2023. All proceeds benefit Lubbock Meals on Wheels, and helps over 840 people remain at home, well fed, and independent as long as possible.
The event kicks off with a celebrity pie eating contest at Noon on Tuesday, November 9th, at the United on 4th & Milwaukee. Thanks to United Supermarkets, Mrs. Smith’s, KAMC, and KLBK for their generous contributions to this event.

Christmas Tributes
During the busy holiday season, it is hard to find time to address and mail all those Christmas cards. At the same time, it is so important to remember everyone at this time of the year. Let Lubbock Meals on Wheels help you out with their Christmas Card Tribute Program. When you give a minimum $5.00 gift in honor of a friend, family member, or business acquaintance, a lovely holiday acknowledgment card will be sent. Both individuals and businesses are encouraged to take advantage of this meaningful program – save your valuable time and support a worthwhile cause. Please send or bring your Christmas card list (include names and addresses) to Lubbock Meals on Wheels, 2304-34th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79411. In general names and addresses need to be received by mid-December.
